    Constipation Causes and Treatment

Constipation is a common digestive problem in which an individual experiences infrequent bowel movements or difficulty passing stools. It’s defined as having fewer than three bowel movements a week, or passing hard, dry stools that are difficult to pass.

Constipation can be caused by a variety of factors, including a low-fiber diet, dehydration, lack of physical activity, certain medications, and certain medical conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) or thyroid disorders. Symptoms of constipation may include bloating, abdominal pain, and a feeling of incomplete evacuation after passing stool.

Treatment for constipation usually involves lifestyle changes, such as increasing fiber and water intake, regular exercise, and establishing regular bowel habits. In some cases, medication or other interventions may be necessary to relieve symptoms. If you experience chronic constipation or severe symptoms, it’s important to talk to your doctor to determine the underlying cause and appropriate treatment.
Constipation can be caused by a variety of factors, including:

    1. Low fiber diet: Eating a diet that is low in fiber can be a common cause of constipation. Fiber helps to add bulk to your stools and promotes regular bowel movements.

    2. Dehydration: Not drinking enough water can cause your stools to become hard and difficult to pass.

    3. Lack of physical activity: Regular exercise helps to stimulate the muscles in your digestive system, which can help promote regular bowel movements.

    4. Certain medications: Some medications, such as opioids, antidepressants, and antacids containing aluminum or calcium, can cause constipation as a side effect.

    5. Medical conditions: Certain medical conditions, such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), thyroid disorders, and Parkinson’s disease, can cause constipation.

    6. Ignoring the urge to have a bowel movement: Ignoring the urge to have a bowel movement can cause the stool to become hard and difficult to pass, leading to constipation.

    7. Changes in routine: Traveling or changes in routine can disrupt your bowel habits, causing constipation.

    8. Pregnancy: Hormonal changes during pregnancy can cause constipation.
Symptoms of constipation may vary from person to person, but some common symptoms include:

    1. Infrequent bowel movements: Bowel movements that occur less than three times a week may be a sign of constipation.

    2. Difficulty passing stool: Passing stool may require straining or pushing, and the stool may be hard, dry, or lumpy.

    3. Incomplete evacuation: Feeling like you haven’t completely emptied your bowels after a bowel movement.

    4. Abdominal pain or discomfort: Cramping or bloating in the lower abdomen can be a symptom of constipation.

    5. Nausea: Feeling nauseous or queasy due to the backup of stool in the intestines.

    6. Loss of appetite: A decrease in appetite due to feelings of fullness or discomfort caused by constipation.

    7. Rectal bleeding: Straining during bowel movements can cause small tears in the anal tissue, resulting in rectal bleeding.

It’s important to note that some people may experience constipation without any symptoms at all. If you experience chronic constipation or severe symptoms, it’s important to talk to your doctor to determine the underlying cause and appropriate treatment.
These are some of the common causes of constipation. If you experience chronic constipation or severe symptoms, it’s important to talk to your doctor to determine the underlying cause and appropriate treatment.
Constipation is a common digestive problem that can cause discomfort and affect your quality of life. Here are some remedies that may help relieve constipation:

    1. Increase your fiber intake: Eating foods high in fiber can help soften your stool and make it easier to pass. Good sources of fiber include fruits, vegetables, whole grains, beans, and legumes.

    2. Drink plenty of water: Staying hydrated is important for maintaining regular bowel movements. Aim to drink at least 8 glasses of water a day.

    3. Exercise regularly: Regular exercise can help stimulate your bowel movements and keep your digestive system working properly.

    4. Try a natural laxative: Certain foods, such as prunes, figs, and flaxseeds, have natural laxative properties and can help relieve constipation.

    5. Consider over-the-counter laxatives: If the above remedies don’t work, you may want to consider taking an over-the-counter laxative. However, it’s important to talk to your doctor or pharmacist first, as some laxatives can have side effects or interact with other medications you may be taking.

Remember, if you have chronic constipation or if your symptoms are severe, it’s important to talk to your doctor. They can help determine the underlying cause and provide appropriate treatment.
There are several types of medicines that can be used to treat constipation. Some of these include:

    1. Laxatives: Laxatives are a common type of medication used to treat constipation. They work by either increasing the amount of water in the stool, making it easier to pass, or by stimulating the muscles in the intestines to help move stool along. There are several different types of laxatives available, including bulk-forming, osmotic, stimulant, and lubricant laxatives.

    2. Stool softeners: Stool softeners are medications that help to moisten the stool, making it easier to pass. They work by pulling water into the stool, making it softer and more pliable.

    3. Fiber supplements: Fiber supplements, such as psyllium husk or methylcellulose, can help to add bulk to the stool and promote regular bowel movements. They work by absorbing water and swelling up in the intestines, making the stool softer and easier to pass.

    4. Prokinetics: Prokinetic medications help to stimulate the muscles in the digestive tract, helping to move stool along. They are often used to treat constipation caused by conditions such as irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

It’s important to note that while these medications can be effective for treating constipation, they should only be used under the guidance of a healthcare professional. It’s also important to talk to your doctor before taking any new medications, as they can have side effects or interact with other medications you may be taking.
There are several herbal remedies that may help to alleviate constipation. However, it’s important to note that the efficacy of herbal remedies for constipation is not well established, and they should not be used as a substitute for medical treatment. Here are some herbal remedies that have been traditionally used for constipation:

    1. Senna: Senna is an herbal laxative that has been used for centuries to treat constipation. It works by stimulating the muscles in the intestines to move stool along. Senna is available in several forms, including tea, capsules, and tablets.

    2. Aloe vera: Aloe vera is a natural laxative that can help to soften the stool and promote bowel movements. It is available in several forms, including juice, capsules, and tablets.

    3. Rhubarb: Rhubarb is an herbal remedy that has been used for centuries to treat constipation. It works by stimulating the muscles in the intestines to move stool along. Rhubarb is available in several forms, including capsules and tablets.

    4. Flaxseed: Flaxseed is a good source of fiber, which can help to add bulk to the stool and promote regular bowel movements. It can be consumed in several forms, including ground flaxseed, flaxseed oil, and flaxseed capsules.

    5. Triphala: Triphala is an herbal remedy that has been used in traditional Ayurvedic medicine to treat constipation. It is a combination of three fruits: haritaki, bibhitaki, and amalaki. Triphala works by promoting digestion and regulating bowel movements. It is available in several forms, including capsules and powder.

It’s important to note that while these herbal remedies may provide some relief for constipation, they should only be used under the guidance of a healthcare professional. They can have side effects or interact with other medications you may be taking. It’s also important to talk to your doctor before taking any new herbal remedies, particularly if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

If you want to know about uric acid, then read this post. You will find important information about uric acid and you will get an answer that how to reduce uric acid naturally.

Did you know that high uric acid levels in blood cause excruciating gout which can eventually produce damaged joints and kidneys?

And did you know that high acid levels in the blood can be reduced and controlled without using drugs?

Well, here you’ll learn what causes high uric acid in the blood, how it causes gout, what the ramifications of recurring gout can be, and, how to treat it without expensive drugs with all their nasty side effects.

    What is uric acid?

From the nucleic acid of the living cells, by different metabolic processes, two substances called adenine and guanine are produced which are known as purine.

An enzyme in our body called xanthine-oxidase converts this purine, in three stages, to uric acid.

Chemically, it is composed of carbon, nitrogen, hydrogen, and oxygen whose formula is C5H4N4O3

Its salt of it is known as sodium urate monohydrate.

Uric Acid Normal Value | Uric Acid Normal Range

When the decay of cells occurs at a rate greater than the average rate, then the formation of uric acid in the body also increases.

The maximum permissible level of it in the blood of an adult male is 8mg/100ml of blood while that in an adult female is 6mg/100ml of blood.

If its level in the blood is more than the above maximum level, then it is called hyper-uricaemia, which is not a normal condition.

It is seen that generally, its level in the blood increases gradually after 20 years of age, and in the case of females this occurs, particularly, after menopause.

What Is Uric Acid and How Does It Cause Gout?

Uric acid occurs quite naturally in your blood and urine. It is actually a byproduct of a reaction in your body that supplies your energy and protein needs.

The key elements in this process are chemical compounds called “purines” which are also a natural part of your make-up, but crucially, also appear in our foods.

As part of the process described above, these purines eventually break down, and acid is produced in your bloodstream as a result.

Your kidneys then process and expel excess uric acid from your body by way of your urine.

Now, as long as your kidneys are working efficiently, and, not too much uric acid is being produced for your kidneys to handle, then ‘normal’ acid levels, which don’t generally cause any problems, circulate in your blood.

However, if either one of the two scenarios above isn’t met, then there will be an excess of acid circulating in your blood.

The result is that uric acid in the form of crystals can be accumulated in and around your joints, causing the agonies of gout.

Apart from the pain, the other symptoms are redness, swelling, and inflammation.

The total content of the acid in the blood may remain within 900mg – 1200mg depending on body weight, food habits, and racial differences.

75% of it in our blood is excreted, unchanged, through urine, while 20 – 25% of it, changed to some extent, is excreted through the feces.

Uric acid in our blood is in the form of monosodium urate, which, if increases, gets deposited in the joints and kidneys and causes diseases.

    How does hyper-uricaemia occur?

Hyperuricemia may occur due to one or more of the following reasons:

    • Increased formation of uric acid due to genetic characteristics or metabolic malfunctioning of enzymes.
    • Chronic kidney disease leads to less excretion of acid through urine.
    • Too much intake of protein like meat (lamb, beef) or sea-fishes.
    • Eating fructose-rich foods. Sugar contains about 50% fructose.
    • Drinking of corn syrup.
    • Diseases causing rapid cell turnovers, like polycythemia, different types of leukemia, and a skin disease called psoriasis.
    • Drinking too much alcohol, particularly, beer.
    • Daily intake of a very low dose of aspirin. Too much intake of tea or medicine containing caffeine.
    • Medicines are used to treat blood pressure and dropsy.
    • Medicines are used to treat tuberculosis.
    • When an overweight person tries to lose weight quickly, then there occurs an increase in the uric acid level in his/her blood.
    • While doing excessive physical work or exercise, there is an increased formation of lactic acid in the body. At that time, there may be a temporarily increased production of uric acid in the blood.
    • Type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, insulin-resistant disease syndrome ‘x’s – in all these cases the level of the acid is high.

    High Uric Acid Symptoms

Problems caused by high uric acid levels in the blood

This may cause mainly 2 types of diseases —

    Gout

Gout arthritis is created by increased uric acid level in the blood caused by any disturbance in the body’s purine or protein metabolism.

Uric acid does not dissolve properly in our blood.

So, any excess of it in the blood gets deposited in our joints in the form of monosodium urate crystals and causes inflammation.

Gout is a very painful disease of the joints, which mainly occurs in aged persons. Males are 5-7 times more prone to this disease than females.

The problem starts when the quantity of uric acid in the blood crosses its normal level of 2-7mg/100ml.

It is seen that the painful symptoms of gout arthritis start showing if this level in the case of females exceeds 3.5-5mg/100ml and in the case of males 5-7mg/100ml.

Again, in the case of severe gout, the level may be 20mg/100 ml or more.

    Uric acid stone in kidneys

When the quantity of uric acid in the blood is very high, then the excess amount after saturation, which does not dissolve in blood, starts depositing in the kidneys, since 75% of the acid is excreted from the body through the kidneys.

When the reaction of urine is acidic, then the kidneys cannot throw out the whole of uric acid through urine.

Moreover, during summer, when the body loses a lot of water or those people, who drink a very little quantity of water, there is a possibility of easily developing stones in the kidneys.

One may not feel any trouble at the first stage of kidney stones. Even, it cannot be detected by ordinary X-ray or scan since the urate stone is radiolucent.

It may be detected by sonography only.

What Are The Long-Term Effects Of High Uric Acid Levels In Blood?

The first thing to be aware of is that frequent episodes of gout over extended periods can lead to permanently damaged joints.

They can also lead to agonizing kidney stones and, in severe cases, kidney damage.

The second thing is that once you have had one attack, you are extremely likely to have others unless you can do something to prevent their return.

What Are The Usual Treatments For High Uric Acid Levels And Gout?

These are invariably prescribed drugs of the type such as non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs symptoms of a gout attack.

And the use of uric acid-reducing drugs , which are used over extended periods.

    Are These Drug-Based Treatments Effective?

Absolutely. The drugs for attacking the symptoms can work within a week or so, and, the acid-reducing drugs gradually lower uric acid over time.

However, anti-inflammatory drugs have no effect on your high acid levels; they only address inflammation and pain.

You normally only take these until the symptoms have gone.

And the drugs to reduce acid levels are prescribed for the long term, because, although they lower your uric acid levels, they can’t address the root cause of your high levels.

So that when you come off them there’s nothing to stop your levels from rising again. Unless, of course, you know how to address the underlying causes.

    Are There Any Side Effects?

As with most drugs, unfortunately, yes. With these, the most common are; nausea, vomiting, headaches, stomach cramps, bleeding, and, stomach ulcers.

And this — along with their cost probably — is why so many folks are now using totally natural remedies to relieve their symptoms, and, prevent further attacks with their prospect of permanent damage…

Natural Home Remedies For the Treatment of High Uric Acid Levels and Gout

It perhaps goes without saying that there are many natural remedies that are available. Here is the example just a few of the most important:-

Diet – Avoid high-purine foods like fatty red meat, offal, poultry, shellfish, dried peas, legumes, and yeast.

And it uses fully-researched, totally natural methods. So that you benefit in two ways:

    • you get rid of your excruciating pain very fast
    • you prevent your gout from returning so that you reduce the risk of permanent damage

In How to Lower Uric Acid in the Body Naturally, you’ll discover 3 simple, natural tips to reduce high uric acid and eliminate gout. First, let’s look at what causes gout.

    HIGH URIC ACID CAUSES GOUT

Uric acid is the byproduct of chemical compounds in your body’s cells breaking down as part of the natural metabolizing process.

The acid produced in your body is processed through your kidneys and excess is expelled via your urine.

Enough acid is retained for your body’s benefit, e.g. to help look after your blood vessel linings, etc.

High acid levels can occur when your kidneys are unable to process normal acid levels, or when there is too much acid being produced for your kidneys to handle, even if they are working at 100%.

When this occurs — a condition is known as hyperuricemia — crystals can form out of the high acid levels and become deposited in your joints and tissue.

These give rise to the symptoms of a gout attack.

YOU NEED TO LOWER URIC ACID LEVELS

To help during an attack, and between attacks, you need to lower uric acid in your body. You can do this using traditional drug-based medicines, or, like more and more people who suffer from gout, you can use natural gout treatments.

But, because these only work as long as you take them, they have to be taken on a daily basis over a significant period of time.

And, as with most pharmaceutical drugs, they have many horrible side effects; vomiting, nausea, diarrhea, ulcers, stomach pain, bleeding, skin allergies, bone thinning, to name just a few.

This is why people with gout all around the world are turning to natural gout remedies to reduce uric acid levels in the body.

How to Reduce Uric Acid Naturally?

YOU CAN LOWER URIC ACID IN THE BODY NATURALLY

Acid levels in the blood can be reduced through home remedies for gout such as the use of herbs, fruits, vegetables, and natural supplements, etc.

There are so many out there, but here are 3 that gout sufferers have found effective:-

    (1) Vitamin C – Studies have revealed that people who take regular vitamin C can lower their uric acid levels.

You can get plenty of vitamin C from things like oranges, tangerines, mandarins, etc. But, during an attack, vitamin C supplements can bring great benefits very quickly.

    (2) Cherries and Cherry Juice-Other – Other studies have shown that cherries not only lower uric acid in the body but also have natural anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties.

They are thus ideal during an attack, and, for maintaining lower uric acid levels to help prevent further attacks.

    (3) Alfalfa – Alfalfa can help first neutralize, then reduce uric acid in the body. And for overall health, it has many nutrients and minerals.

WHY do YOU need TO MAINTAIN LOWER URIC ACID LEVELS?

Regularly recurring gout can eventually cause you to have permanently damaged joints and/or kidney problems such as painful stones.

And once you’ve had one attack you are far more likely to have more.

So it’s imperative that you reduce your uric acid to a lower, healthier level, and, maintain it at that level.

Now, whilst the above remedies can help, there are many more things to consider, one of the most critical being your diet.

NATURAL SUPPLEMENTS TO LOWER URIC ACID

Here are 5 natural supplements to help reduce the acid in your body:-

    1- Vitamin E –

Since many low purine foods have low values of vitamin E, it’s important that gout sufferers on low purine diets supplement their vitamin E.

    2- Vitamin C –

Vitamin C can lower uric acid levels in addition to its benefits during a gout attack of increasing urinary excretion.

But, the amount consumed has to be carefully judged as too much vitamin C can actually spark off a gout attack by changing the acid levels too fast.

    3- Vitamin B Complex –

B vitamins are required to help the body break down uric acid into harmless components that can be flushed out of the system.

And gout sufferers are oftentimes deficient in vitamin B. So vitamin B complex can help to replace this deficiency.

    4- Fish Oil –

Although fish oil will not help to reduce the acid levels, it has natural anti-inflammatory properties to help during an actual gout attack.

    5- Tissue Salts –

Tissue salts like silica can help prevent the actual formation of uric acid crystals and so help prevent the symptoms of gout.

Warning: Always seek advice from your doctor before taking any supplements.

OTHER CONSIDERATIONS FOR URIC ACID REDUCTION

There are many more issues to consider in terms of how to reduce uric acid in the body.

As well as diet and supplementation, there are things such as your weight, any medications being taken, any underlying medical conditions, body pH, family history of gout or arthritis, even lifestyle issues.

Natural Ways to Reduce Uric Acid

In order to help reduce acid levels and then continue to control them at safe levels, many gout sufferers are utilizing the acid-reducing properties of natural treatment options.

In addition, these natural approaches can also reduce inflammation and relieve the pain of gout attacks.

5 of the most popular natural remedies to reduce uric acid crystals are herbal:-

    • Alfalfa can help to neutralize high acid levels, as well as having high levels of minerals and nutrients.

    • Celery and celery seeds have been shown to lower acid levels.
    • Devils claw has been known to reduce acid levels too.

Of course, this only scratches the surface of what is available.

And you need also to address other issues like diet, weight, family history, medications, medical conditions, even lifestyle issues.

Importance of Diet in Reducing Uric Acid

Diet itself is so important. The typical Western diet contains lots of animal protein which can be high or very high in purines.

So eating these high-purine foods only increases the risk of uric acid crystals forming and causing gout. As a gout sufferer, you should avoid high-purine foods.

Gout and Kidney Disease You Should Know

Gout and Kidney Disease- Kidney trouble should always be taken seriously because of a kidney problem, if it’s not treated in time, can have a huge impact on your overall health and quality of life. Some kidney conditions are potentially fatal.

Your kidneys can become so much damaged from a kidney infection or kidney cancer that they no longer function.

When such kidney failure occurs, the only way you can survive is through a kidney transplant or dialysis.

What Are the Most Common Symptoms of Gout and Kidney Disease?

Many kidney conditions have similar symptoms.

You may or may not experience pain in the lower back or “flank” area.

    Gout and Kidney Disease

What Is Uric Acid and How Does It Cause Gout?

Uric acid occurs quite naturally in your blood and urine. It is actually a byproduct of a reaction in your body that supplies your energy and protein needs.

The key elements in this process are chemical compounds called “purines” which are also a natural part of your make-up, but crucially, also appear in our foods.

As part of the process described above, these purines eventually breakdown, and acid is produced in your bloodstream as a result.

Your kidneys then process and expel excess uric acid from your body by way of your urine.

Now, as long as your kidneys are working efficiently, and, not too much uric acid is being produced for your kidneys to handle, then ‘normal’ acid levels, that don’t generally cause any problems, circulate in your blood.

If you have this pain, it may be mild, or it may be severe (as can happen with kidney stones). It can occur on either side of the back.

People who have a kidney condition often find they’re urinating less frequently than before.

There may be blood present in your urine. If this is the case, your urine will look darker and may even have a slight reddish tint.

You may feel pain or discomfort while urinating. This also happens if you have a bladder infection, but it’s possible that the infection might be happening elsewhere in the urinary tract – like the kidneys.

You may sometimes pass very little quantity of urine, even though you felt an urgent need to urinate moments before.

    These are some other possibilities:

    • Chills and fever,
    • Higher blood pressure,
    • Feeling overly tired, weak or fatigued,
    • Muscle weakness,
    • Bloating. This could be a sign that your kidneys aren’t filtering fluids from your bloodstream as they should.
    • Swelling in the ankles, feet or hands,
    • Swelling and puffiness in the area around the eyes, especially in the morning,
    • Nausea and vomiting, along with a loss of appetite,
    • Abnormal behavior, seizures, and convulsions. These sometimes present in the late stages of a kidney problem.

Diagnosing the Symptoms of Gout and Kidney Disease

The following types of clinical procedures can assist in diagnosing the symptoms of various kidney problems.

    • A blood analysis
    • blood pressure checks
    • A thorough health examination
    • A sonogram of your abdomen
    • An analysis of your urine

Tests that are typically performed during the course of a woman’s pregnancy can also assist in determining if kidney trouble is developing.

Kidney disease can be a very serious condition. It can, if not detected early, lead to complications that left untreated, can shut down the kidneys and lead to complicated treatments that include dialysis.

Is that something that you want to mess with? Of course not; that is why it is so critical you come to recognize the symptoms from the symptoms of many other common illnesses.

Your kidneys are responsible for filtering wastes and other toxins from the blood. When your kidneys do not do this, wastes and other toxins build up in the blood.

This can lead to many problems, including chronic illness. Many people fail to consider the health of their kidneys when they are treating other diseases, and yet it is other diseases that often lead to kidney damage.

That is why it is so important to know what the most common kidney disease symptom and/or symptoms are.

Here is a checklist of some of the more well-known Symptoms of Kidney Problems:

What Happens If I Have Symptoms of Kidney Problems?

    • Change in urination
    • Difficulty urinating
    • Pain on urination
    • Foamy or bubbly urination
    • Changes in the color of your urine
    • Blood in the urine, which may be a sign of a urinary tract infection, which can lead to a kidney infection,  which can lead to kidney disease (it is a progressive thing)
    • Fatigue or sleepiness, which may be the result of a drop in red blood cells, so the muscles and the brain become more tired. This typically has a name, called anemia.
    • Itching or other skin rashes, which may be the result of a buildup of wastes in the blood.
    • A metallic taste in the mouth, which can cause certain foods to taste differently, or can cause the breath to smell bad. Some patients notice they no longer enjoy eating certain foods especially meat, while others simply lose their interest in eating anything.
    • Nausea and vomiting, which can result in a buildup in wastes in the blood.
    • Pain in the legs of pain in the back, especially in the middle of the back. Typically kidney damage can cause cysts in the kidneys, and sometimes these can buildup in the liver too. Sometimes these are painful, and other times not.
    • Some people notice their lower backs are hurting or their sides start hurting and they are not sure why. Other people notice they feel pain at certain times, like at night.

Dizziness – This can result from anemia; it can also result from a buildup of toxins in the blood. Patients can also develop anemia simply from not eating because they have lost their appetite due to increasingly serious kidney damage.

If you have any one of the above symptoms, you should seek the care of a doctor or qualified health professional. Some people hear “kidney disease” and they immediately think “dialysis” and worry they will die right away. This is certainly not the case!

There are many steps you can take to improve the health of your kidneys and your outlook for a long and healthier life. Many people can take steps to slow down and want to prevent the progression of chronic kidney disease.

For example, the first step you can take is to simply start following the guidance provided to you by your health care professional. Many people will benefit from getting physical activity and by lowering their blood pressure.

It also helps to drink plenty of water, filtered water if possible, and getting rest when appropriate. For some, other changes in lifestyle are necessary as directed by a qualified health care professional

You must have heard symptoms of chronic kidney disease taking the lives of many people around you. The name is not so unfamiliar, is it?

Medical Terms such as kidney transplants, dialysis, kidney failure have somewhat become common in the medical field and way too many people are coming across kidney problems due to many reasons both explainable and unexplainable.

But then the point is, you must know about what actually causes kidney disease and what are you supposed to do in case you are diagnosed with it.

So let us begin with having a basic idea of chronic kidney disease followed by its various symptoms and finally the treatment.

Now, if you didn’t know about it already, your kidneys play a very important and vital role in your body.

They are located at the back of the abdominal cavity and their function is to remove unwanted toxins from the blood, balance chemical neutrality (the acid-base balance), and filter the blood plasma (through key processes such as filtration, reabsorption, secretion, and excretion) regularly.

The nephrons present in kidneys are basically what carry these jobs and hence, make this organ a vital and important one to be taken care of.

Now, there are many times when your kidneys aren’t able to perform to their best ability and there are reasons for why it happens so.

More often than not, diseases such as diabetes complications and high blood pressure are what hampers the functionality of your kidneys.

It also happens in case you have been hit by a urinary tract infection in the past (UTI).

Certain other health problems such as heart attacks are also sometimes responsible for it.

In short, it’s all about the type of lifestyle you lead, and how it affects not one but different systems of your body.

Let us see how you can actually find out if you are suffering from chronic kidney disease, via understanding these symptoms.

In the initial days, you might notice:

    Early Symptoms of Kidney Problems

    • Loss of appetite
    • Nausea
    • Vomiting
    • Alteration in urination
    • Muscle cramps

Though you might notice the following symptoms if it is acute:

    • Diarrhea
    • Back pain
    • Swelling of feet and ankles
    • Fatigue
    • Hypertension
    • Chest pain

These symptoms though might replicate that of another harmful disease, we suggest you must visit your doctor from time to time to check chronic kidney disease as they might be so due to the same problem.

The fact that the health of your kidneys majorly depends on your overall lifestyle, it becomes a matter of crucial understanding regarding the fragility of the situation.

Chronic kidney disease though has several treatment options that guarantee a successful cure from disease, there are chances of it proving to be fatal and taking lives when you least expect it to do so.

So first and foremost, the treatment option that you can begin with is controlling your blood pressure, eating a healthy diet, and following a lifestyle that does not stress your body in any manner.

Apart from that, you can eat food that is the rich quantity in potassium such as spinach, banana, and yogurt.

Chronic kidney disease (in its last stage) only has few options such as kidney transplant or dialysis as its surviving option though there’s no guarantee of it proving to be successful life and you may actually lose your life eventually.

Hence, it is important you look at your lifestyle sincerely and ensure you don’t deteriorate the health of your kidneys for the sake of your life if not anything else.

Chronic kidney disease is becoming common these days only due to the lifestyle changes people have adapted to put stress on their body, and it is very important to you educate yourselves about how it’s affecting your health at the end of the day.

A Final Thought on Symptoms of Gout and Kidney Disease

Generally, Kidney problem symptoms are often difficult to diagnose in an early stage, and frequently don’t appear until the problem is serious.

You can actually lose almost all kidney function before the signs of a problem are appears.

Probably the most bizarre among them would have to be the use of aspirin. Aspirin actually contains a component that is also present in most anti-dandruff shampoos; this component is salicylic acid.

Salicylic acid helps to remove the accumulation of dead skin cells and also encourages other cells to shed off faster in order to promote the growth of new cells.

You do not need to drink aspirin to treat dandruff, instead what you have to do is crush 2 tablets of aspirin and mix it with the shampoo you used to wash your hair.

Shampoo your hair with this mixture and leave it on for about two minutes before you rinse it thoroughly.

There have also been reports that mouthwash like Listerine is also an effective remedy for treating dandruff. What makes Listerine an effective remedy is its herbal oils and the alcohol content which helps to prevent the infestation of any bacteria.

    dandruff remedies at home

This reduces the dandruff flakes present on your scalp.

For this remedy, you need to use the original amber-colored Listerine. All you have to do is mix it with some water and rinse it thoroughly on your scalp. Leave it on for at least 10 minutes or when you start to feel some sting.

After this, you just have to rinse it well and wash with shampoo and conditioner.

Since dandruff is such a common condition that most people experience, people look for more unique ways of getting rid of it fast and effectively. There are still a lot more unique remedies out there that are waiting to be discovered.
