Iron Syrup Uses | Dexorange syrup

Dexorange syrup contains a combination of folic acid (Vitamin B9), cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) & iron (ferric ammonium citrate) as its active ingredient.

It is a food supplement essentially meant for replenishing the low levels of folic acid, iron, and vitamin B12 in blood and to treat deficiency of these essential components.

Folic acid and vitamin B12 (cyanocobalamin) are the essential vitamins required for performing optimal physiological functions such as the production of blood cells, nerve cells, DNA synthesis in the body.

Iron is the most essential requirement for the production of blood cells and lack of it can lead to anemia. It also plays an important role to maintain immunity and other biochemical processes.

Ingredients and Benefits

Vitamin-B9 or Folic Acid or Folate: One of the essential vitamins which play a vital role in DNA and synthesis of amino acids. It is essential for cell division and the complete development of blood cells.

It is essential for the development of a growing baby’s brain and spinal cord, and lack of this during pregnancy can lead to various birth defects.

Vitamin B12:

It is essential for the proper functioning of the brain and nervous system for the production of red blood cells and DNA synthesis. It also plays a major role in protein and fat metabolism, fertility, and the functioning of hormones.

It found in different forms like Cyanocobalamin, Methylcobalamin, and Adenosylcobalamin. All are Vitamin B-12

Iron: It is a vital mineral that’s needed for proper body functioning. It is essential for hemoglobin (Hb) formation (present in red blood cells). Hb carries oxygen from the lungs to the entire body cells.

It is also part of myoglobin, (type of hemoglobin) that supplies oxygen to muscles as per needs. It plays an important role in maintaining immunity, the formation of certain hormones, and regulating body optimum temperature
